The Barnes Firm is proud to sponsor the 2021 WYRK St. Jude Radiothon. We were sponsors on February 4th and 5th on WYRK and we will be sponsors again on March 4th and 5th on WBLK in Buffalo.
With the help of new Partners In Hope throughout Buffalo, the February Radiothon successfully raised over $300,000 to support St. Jude and their commitment to treating and preventing catastrophic diseases in children. We believe that with your help, we can donate an even greater amount to help the families at St. Jude!
For over 30 years, Country Cares for St. Jude Kids®, a successful fundraising campaign in radio history, has been raising more than $800 million. In 1989, Alabama lead singer Randy Owen challenged the country community to rally around St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Today, Country Cares for St. Jude Kids® is proud to partner with the biggest stars in country, including: Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, Brantley Gilbert, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge, Kelsea Ballerini, Jake Owen, and many others.
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, which means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
